Those women who have undergone this kind of illness have a tendency to commit suicide or to have depression. Dr. Lesley Arnold, instructor of psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati and study the fibromyalgia said that people who have fibromyalgia do not simply have fibromyalgia. Arnold is not associated with the recent studies.

Researchers also found that the rate of risk of death in strokes and liver disease is in higher than the average rate. However, there is still no variation in the rates of overall death. The statistic shows that two percent of the U.S population is suffering from fibromyalgia and feels the pain even with a simple touch.
Fibromyalgia has no cure; patients can only use pain medication although for some patients, medications are not effective to them. People that are suffering from fibromyalgia have a higher possible of psychiatric illness than the common population. Moreover, almost 90 percent of those who have fibromyalgia are women.

Most of the patient had been directed to Frederiksberg Hospital and diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
In addition, the researchers have not found any changes with the death rates from particular conditions. Women also died at a probable that would be expected among comparable healthy women. It has a total of 41 deaths over the flow of the study. Moreover, eight of those deaths came from suicidal attempt.
