New Vaccine Shows Improvement with AIDS Virus

A new research found out that there are antibodies that can be used in creating a medicine for curing the wide epidemic of AIDS all over the world and can also defend against the harmful effects of AIDS.

The researcher also said that these antibodies occur when a person is already having a virus, when it is too delay for this person to be good. However, having a properly vaccine design to help the body in early time.

Dr. Gary Nabel, who led the research from National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease said that AIDS vaccine can really help the AIDS patients now rather than in a previous ten years.  Nabel also added that there are two antibodies that can fight the multiplication of HIV that can cause AIDS.

However, this antibody only develops after you have been infected by the virus. In addition to this, there is still a problem in contracting with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). A person that has been infected, the virus gets first before the immune system.

That is why they are creating vaccine that can work before the virus takes place.  Moreover, according to United Nations AIDS (UNAIDS) organization there are at least 33 million who have been infected and suffered with AIDS virus. Furthermore, AIDS virus kills 25 million patients since the epidemic started in year 1980, and there are no medicines or drugs that are invented to cure the AIDS virus.

The problem in curing the virus is that it multiplies quickly and it attacks more the immune system. Everyone thought that no vaccine can help cure the virus. However, last September researchers create a vaccine that can slow down the multiplication of virus with 30 percent done with Thai volunteers, yet this study shown many questions about the vaccine.
